Running

Running is a means of terrestrial locomotion allowing humans and other animals to move rapidly on foot. It is simply defined in athletics terms as a gait in which at regular points during the running cycle both feet are off the ground.

History
Competitive running grew out of religious festivals in various areas such as Greece, Egypt, Asia, and the Rift Valley in Africa. The Tailteann Games, an Irish sporting festival in honour of the goddess Tailtiu, dates back to 1829 BCE, and is one of the earliest records of competitive running.[5] The origins of the Olympics are shrouded in myth, though the first recorded game took place in 776 BCE

Letter to friend in the UK

Dear friends,
At the lesson of the UK Country studying we have read and analyzed the text about the system of education in your country. Now we can say that is similar to ours. We also have primary, secondary and higher education. There are also other similarities but they are not very important.
We want to tell you a little about our school. We’re studying in the specialized school#15. It is one of the best schools in our town. Our school is specialized on foreign languages, so we’re studying English, Polish and Germany. It gives us a great opportunity to find a good job, because people who know different languages are really valued.
                                         This is our school
And this is our class

Could you tell us about your school? What is its feature? What are you doing during the breaks and after school? We are interested in all what you’re going to tell us about.
We’re waiting for your letter.
Lot’s of love
Vika, Sofa and Natasha.
