And now we have a tradition:  we gather together every last Sunday of the month and cook our favorite dish – French meat. This dish is really savory. It smells fragrant.  We always use only fresh and yummy ingredients.

1.   Wash the meat
2.   Dry and cut in layers
3.   Repelle every layer
4.   Salt and pepper
5.   Peel and chop the onion  on rings or half ring
6.   Grate the cheese
7.   Put the meat on the greased baking sheet
8.   Put the onios on meat
9.   Drizzle meat with mayonnaise
10.  Sprinkle with grated cheese
11.  Bake for about 25 minutes at a temperature of 180 ° C

Letter to our friend in the UK

Dear friend!
Our names are Natalia Gumenuyk, Viktoria Yushchyshyna, Sophia Kasenuyk  We are all 15 years old. We live in Rivne, which is located in the west part of Ukraine.  We are fond of playing on the guitar, dancing, listening to the music and studying foreign languages.
In our school we have lessons of country studying, and this year we’re talking about Great Britain. The main task of this lesson – to learn something interesting and new about your country. We created blogs in the net, where we try to interested people in on one of the UK’s parts. That’s why, could you tell me something interesting about Wales? And also we would really  like to post in our blog an information about your journey in the UK. We’re sure you’ve got what to tell us about.
And from our side we’re going to tell you about our trip in Ukraine. We have visited many places of interest here. We were in Kyiv, Lviv, Odessa, Yalta, Charciv, Peresopnitsa and a lot of others.
The most memorable was our journey to Peresopnitsa with our classmates. It’s the small village near Rivne, but it it is famous all over Ukraine. Peresopnitske Gospel was written there. It’s very expensive, beautifull and old book, our president put his hand on it, when gives the oath of allegiance to the people. It was really interested there. Our guide told us some interesting stories about the destiny of this book.

We’re waiting for your latter, and we’re sure that we’ll become good friends.
Lots of love
Natasha, Vika and Sofa.

History background of Wales

The best site where all information about history of Wales is located:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/wales/history/

I'm sure that you would't read all information in this site, that's why i've chosen the most  interesting facts.
1.The earliest evidence of human beings in Wales dates from about 225,000 BC, the date given to human teeth found in Pontnewydd Cave in the Elwy Valley in Denbighshire.
2.Roman forces reached the borders of Wales in AD 48, five years after they had begun their conquest of Britain. This sugests that Welsh People were very brawe.
3.After the end or Roman invasion in the world's map appeared Wales, which is still famous by it's ancient roots
4.Between AD 650 and 750, Britain's lowland zone became firmly English. Even in southern Scotland, most of the Brythonic or Welsh kingdoms came under English or Anglian control. Yet before that happened, those kingdoms produced the first surviving body of literature in the Welsh language, in particular the Gododdin of Aneirin.
5.In the 500 years after the fall of the Roman Empire, the Christianity of Wales had its own marked characteristics. It shared them with the other Celtic-speaking countries, thus giving rise to the rather misleading notion that there was such a thing as the Celtic Church.
6.Era of Welsh independence finished in 1277, when Welsh people loose very important and horrible war.
7.After The War of Roses the Tudor's became rulers there and in a fw years Wales united with England.

History of Wales is not end with this event but from this time it's became a history of United Kingdom.

I'm very sorry if my short article bored you, but a got a real pleasure doing this work and as for me it was really unteresting.

Location of Wales, Nature and Climate.

“Landscape creates nations, and nowhere is this truism truer than in Wales, Cymru. Almost everything about Wales has been decreed by its terrain; certainly if the countryside had been different the Welsh people as we know them would never have existed.”
Jan Morris ‘The Matter of Wales’

Wales is a country that is part of the United Kingdom in the south-west of the island of Great Britain, bordered by England to its east and the Atlantic Ocean and Irish Sea to its west. Its total area is 20,779 km² (8,023 sq mi). Wales has over 1,200 km (746 mi) of coastline, including its offshore islands; the largest, Anglesey , is also the largest island in the Irish Sea.Generally mountainous, its highest mountains are in the north and central areas, especially in Snowdonia, which contains Snowdon, its highest peak.
Wales lies within the north temperate zone. It has a changeable, maritime climate and is one of the wettest countries in Europe.Welsh weather is often cloudy, wet and windy, with warm summers and mild winters. The long summer days and short winter days are due to Wales' northerly latitudes.
Here is a link for people moving, immigrating, relocating to Wales, giving information about its location, climate, cities, universities, economy: http://www.gatewaysmoving.com/about_moving_to_wales.htm

Wales is a country that looks to the sea and wherever you go in Wales, you're rarely far from it. Take a look at some of  Welsh beaches:

There are more than 107,000 plant species in gardens throughout Wales. Have a look at some of our favourite public gardens to visit:

Wales’ wildlife is typical of Britain with several distinctions. Due to its long coastline Wales hosts a variety of seabirds. Today, Welsh mammals of note include shrews, voles, badgers, otters, hedgehogs and fifteen species of bat. Two species of small rodent, the yellow-necked mouse and the dormouse, are of special Welsh note being found at the historically undisturbed border area.Other animals of note include, otter, stoat and weasel. Athem of Wales

Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau is the national anthem of Wales. The title – taken from the first words of the song – means "Old Land of My Fathers", usually rendered in English as simply "Land of My Fathers". The words were written by Evan James and the tune composed by his son, James James in January 1856.

Emblem of Wales

Emblem of Wales - the emblem used by the Prince of Wales. Unlike the arms of England and Scotland emblem in the past was not very common in Wales, but sometimes used more and more. Before the British conquest of Wales fragmented principalities of Wales used different characters.
In 1953 Royal mark was set in Wales. Mark consists of a shield divided into two parts - white and green with a placed in the center red dragon, the same as on the flag of Wales. The shield is surrounded by a garter with the words «Y Ddraig Goch Ddyry Cychwyn» (vall. "red dragon inspires action"). Sign crowning crown of St. Edward.

Much more facts you can find here, in Wikipedia, well known encyclopedia.

To interest you  in Wels we decided to start your familiarity with this land with a help of good movie about this part of Great Britain.

Everyone knows that Wales - one of the most beautiful places on earth. Newcomers feel hospitality right away, because Wales - a small country. Only a few countries in the world can boast such a rich history. After moving across the border and you can not see that left England, until you hear what people are talking in a very strange dialect. Welsh language symbolizes the great past. But it managed to preserve the legacy of great effort.
